Shawn Ren Owens (born April 14, 1983) is an American nonbinary author, poet, and writer.

Shawn Ren Owens was born in Lockney, Texas, and grew up in Canyon, Texas. They graduated high school from Highland High School (Highland, Arkansas) in 2001. They received a BS in Banking Finance and a BS in Corporate Finance in 2006 from Arkansas State University. Having many spiritual experiences growing up, they sought out answers for their own clarity regarding these life events, and received a MA in Biblical and Theological Studies in 2022 from Belhaven University. 

They are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and currently travels between California and Georgia with their spouse, actor Thea J Clark.
